Char Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Electric Grill Review
By Steven Knight

Char Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Gas GrillAlways the complaint with these Electric Grills is they don’t get hot enough, the electricity will not allow for that. I’ve thought this through, but on a recent camping outing my friend brought with him the Char Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Electric Grill.

I noticed it took about 15 to 20 minutes to heat up, But boy did it get hot..!! And we cooked all night with it; outside of the use of the Grill we did a green campfire, no wood burning. And we forwent most other types of Coal, and gas… I went home, and found a very nice deal on them at Amazon.com. Now I will confess to you, I’m a traditionalist, wood, or coal for me. I’m from St Louis, and if my friends, or family caught me with an electric grille, I’d be dead for sure. But this bad boy can grill. Yes indeed, we grill like four times a week in my house, and we are not shy to criticize either…

It took only a week to receive the grill, And for me I hate assembly, so i had my brother do it for me, He’s actually very talented to these types of task, and I said he can eat the first object that came off the grill.. It took some time to assemble, I’d say about an hour, but the desk i had from IKEA was even more difficult for him. We cleaned it up using vinegar, and water.. After that was let the grilling begin, we gathered some friends, and made several items to sample, Pork chops, and Chicken thighs, and also some hot dogs for the kids.

Everything was great the chicken, was a bit better than expected, (I’m always a stickler for that) and a bit cautious as well…You need to keep the top down so to speak, it helps keep things hot. The hot dogs, and pork chops were great as well. And truly it was easier to clean than my Master BBQ by another name.  believe with the right seasoning mix, some great sauces, and maybe a lil liquid smoke, this will be a great alternative to a large gas grill. And note that its much healthier, and better for the environment than charcoal is as well..

With this review, I like to say 2 thumbs up for the Char Broil Patio Bistro Infrared Electric Grill, was a very nice buy, it looks cool, very light, and mobile, and seems to be holding up well after 6 months i will add to this review, and let me point out one more thing, If you had a cabin, like we had on our campsite, this would be great indoors, in that setting as well. I’d also like to suggest in getting a good cover, one with a Velcro strap, this will keep it clean, and add years of use, I bought some neat utensils for mine, located those on Amazon.com as well…

Char-Broil Patio Caddie Electric Grill Review
By Geoff Brentley
Char-Broil Patio Caddie Electric GrillIt was about a year ago that I decided to finally purchase the Char-Broil Patio Caddie Electric Grill. I researched them a bit, and found out.. I badly needed one that could provide me with ease, and convenience, suited for my small apartment.  (And boy is it a small corporate apartment) And I mean not just any grill, but I wanted one without, me having the need to use a charcoal or a gas, since I consider my safety to be completely fire hazard free.

When I first got it, I thought for a while that the grill would provide me just what I exactly needed and yes it did and still up until now. I would say that it was worth buying the product, as it was first introduced to me by a friend, and he started telling me to give it a try. And since it comes with a warranty that’s when I rushed on to Amazon.com, where I got my Char-Broil Patio Caddie Electric Grill.

Upon receiving it in the mail, I noticed a few things, there are allot of parts here. So I commissioned the neighbor to help assemble it. He’s like a Tim Allen on Tool Time Mechanic. When we got it together, I told him we could cook some pork chops, my treat..!!! First things first, there are quite a few parts to handle; it’s not that difficult with the Manuel at hand. But for me it could be easier, if you just put a handle on, then the lid, and Walla…”Let’s get ready to BBQ”.

One thing I admired when we finished it, the cool factor went to the roof…It looked great, and after letting it warm up a bit, I wiped all the surfaces down, and then put a little oil on the grill. Now The bad part…It took some time to heat up,( perhaps 15 minutes) KEEP THE GRILL TOP CLOSED.. That’s a must, and once it was hot, Grand pork chop central station, I added some corn, and slices of Pineapple… Wow this baby can cook, and it was a cinch to clean too…he pork chops tasted great, Grill marks and all… I’d say there is a slight taste difference from charcoal, and also with the gas. But clearly these chops were great, and seemed to be much healthier for me as well. I also found a solution to Barbecuing in a corporate apartment setting.

Now it’s been about a year, and I must confess a secret..! Grilling is now convenient? And I feel I got, more than that, with the Char-Broil Patio Caddie Electric Grill, I purchased from Amazon.com. I’ve added some cool accessories, a nicer cover, and a set of barbecue utensils. With that, I am now experiencing the relative ease, and comfort which it could also provide you, same way it did to me. It perfectly worked for me; I’m sure it will for others as well.
